Welcome to The Abinger Cookery School


Based in the heart of the beautiful Surrey Hills, The Abinger Cookery School offers a wide range of both day and evening courses, corporate events, plus longer 1 and 2 week ‘chalet chef’ courses ideal for those wanting to spend a winter season in the Alps.  Our varied courses have small classes and take place in one of our two newly fitted kitchens in a relaxed and friendly environment.  Whether it’s your first experience in a kitchen or just looking to add to your repertoire, The Abinger has something for everyone.

About Us

In what was once a disused pub in the heart of the Surrey Hills, The Abinger Cookery School was founded by a small team of culinary enthusiasts with a wealth of experience and a passion for all things foodie. Within our first year, we teamed up with the gourmet ski chalet holiday specialists Fish&Pips, and together, we teach our students all about excellent food and diverse recipes within a bustling and vibrant industry. We aim to fire up your imagination with courses that are practical, inspired and of course – fun!
We believe in utilising the best produce that Britain has to offer and most of our ingredients are sourced from fantastic suppliers, right on our doorstep. Our courses change regularly and with the season to keep things up to date, fresh and inspiring.  Here at The Abinger we adore food and look forward to passing that love on to you.
