If you love Seafood flavours, then this is the BBQ course for you.
You’ll learn a variety of different skills on this Seafood Essentials course including how to grill, bake and smoke on the barbecue as well as essential fish preparation skills. During the 4 hours you will enjoy preparing and barbecuing a variety of different dishes under the expert tuition of our head chef, Jake or Will.
As well as learning a variety of different dishes you will learn barbecue techniques including controlling the temperature and knowing when your food is perfectly cooked. You will be shown Weber’s “lid-on” cooking techniques and Jake will demonstrate smoking mussels with garlic, cream and white wine as well as teaching you how to fillet a whole fish to create mouth-watering fish tacos. You will leave feeling inspired to impress your friends with new recipes and barbecue techniques.
All courses are taught by our head chef Jake Pinn or Will Bissill. Our School is positioned in Abinger Hammer, a delightful and picturesque village in the heart of the Surrey hills. Newly refurbished, the school provides each student with a fully equipped kitchen.
We believe in hands-on, practical teaching, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves. Students are provided with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
