Barbecue Classics with the Weber Grill Academy
Learn to grill, roast and bake on a barbecue – you’ll be amazed at what you can cook using these simple techniques.Perfect for anyone looking to learn how to get the most out of their Weber®, this introductory course will teach you how to achieve consistently great results with classic barbecue dishes. You will learn must-have barbecue skills, such as lighting, controlling temperature and how to tell when your food is cooked to perfection.
Using Weber’s lid-on technique on both charcoal and gas barbecues, our expert chef, Jake Pinn will spend two and a half hours teaching you the best way to cook a number of all time barbecue classics.
As part of this course you’ll have fun preparing your own juicy cheeseburgers and be taught how to cut and portion a whole chicken, using the various pieces to create a succulent barbecued chicken dish. Jake will also show just one of the many possibilities to expand your barbecue menu with a demonstration of the famous “beer can chicken.”
All courses are taught by our master chef Jake Pinn. Our School is positioned in Abinger Hammer, a delightful and picturesque village in the heart of the Surrey hills. Newly refurbished, the school provides each student with a fully equipped kitchen.
We believe in hands-on, practical teaching, so be prepared to roll up your sleeves. Students are provided with all necessary ingredients and equipment.
